Family Creative Interactive Workshops
Throughout the year, AFTEC presented a series of creative interactive family workshops, namely A Young Person’s Guide to the Theatre, Serendip – Take a Line for a Walk and Serendip – Making Sense: Shapes & Patterns. These workshops focused on allowing families to engage with different art forms and explore how the arts can unleash their creativity and imagination. AFTEC’s 7 Tools and Skills were incorporated into the workshops to provide participants with the skills and strategies to approach and understand the arts.

The workshop made me realise our unlimited potential. We have to use our observation and imagination to make the most of our lives.

I was able to listen to and understand my daughter’s thoughts, which has enhanced my relationship with my daughter. Both of us enjoyed the workshop a lot!
